We would like to recognize and appreciate our recent funders, the State Farm Youth Advisory Board and The Barrios Trust for supporting our work and helping us further our mission of cultivating youth change makers in Oakland. Through their support, we will be able to facilitate a youth-led activity group in the Spring at Oakland High focused around the issues of school engagement and truancy. With this new funding, we will also be able to build our internal capacity and further develop our funding efforts. We are grateful to funders like State Farm YAB and The Barrios Trust who will have a big impact on the growth and sustainability of BRL.
