Last Saturday, BRL was proud to participate in the 13th annual Malcolm X Jazz Festival organized by the Eastside Arts Alliance which brought out hundreds of people to San Antonio Park on a gorgeous Oakland day! The Festival provided a great opportunity for the BRL Academy to perform among other Oakland youth and for BRL to conduct needs assessments for our community-based Therapeutic Activity Groups. It was also a great chance for us to connect with community collaborators. We thank the Eastside Arts Alliance for organizing an amazing event and providing the opportunity to participate! We look forward to the next one!
