Ashland Youth Center

One Stop Youth Center

Beats Rhymes and Life has partnered with Alameda County Health Care Services Agency (HCSA) and other local organizations to develop Alameda County’s next youth center facility in the community of Ashland, located in the San Leandro/San Lorenzo/Hayward area. The 30,000 square foot youth center is scheduled to be completed in late 2012 and will feature:

• Recreation Services
• Health and Wellness Services
• Mentoring and Guidance Programs
• Educational Programs
• Job Training Services
• Out Door Amphitheater
• Skate Park
• Multi-media Lab and Recording Studios

BRL is very excited and proud to be apart of such a historic community-led project. We look forward to providing an array of art and culture programs and services through this center once the project is complete. Over the next few years, BRL will be assisting Alameda County Health Care Services Agency with various components of the AYC Project, as well developing our own capacity to serve as one of the center’s lead agencies in 2013.
